Hello, The Geforce 9300M GS driver makes windows 7 reset every time. I have no problems installing windows 7. The windows 7 default drivers do not work with this graphic card. It makes the computer reset when it's about to enter windows. (Right when it's about to show the desktop) I know it's the graphics card for sure because when I disable/remove the drivers for the graphics card, windows boots fine & everything (just uses my CPU for the desktop, crappy resolution, etc.). When I activate it and reboot again, windows reboots right before the desktop is shown.
I have tried using the windows 7 built in drivers through windows update and the drivers from NVIDIA itself. Neither work. I heard there was a fix released in an earlier RC that fixed this problem, but somehow it wasn't included in the latest RC(Or so I heard). I heard the solution to this problem was to remove my GFX card, install some kind of a patch that fixed it (though I have no idea how to find this patch) and reinstall my gfx card. It is a very stupid workaround to be able to install and use an OS. Hardly a good solution. I work on a laptop, and remove hardware from a laptop is something I'd rather not risk I hope this problem will get fixed in a near future as I'm currently using Vista and everybody is telling me how totally awesome windows 7 is.

I don't know what changed with last time, but every time the setup is preparing my computer to start windows for the first time, the screen goes black (possibly crash?) and just reboots. It keeps going on and on like this. Last time I had that it actually managed to get through after three hours and showed me the screen. I can't boot safe mode and load the driver you linked above. It probably uses the default windows 7 drivers for the geforce 9300M GS, which causes the reset.

Boot windows from CD. Install in english, Belgian keyboard (period). remove all partitions on that driver so I have 1 left (1 partition with unallocated space). It's attempting to boot windows for the first time and after step 7 I'm (obviously) stuck in a reboot loop because it can't start windows for the first time.
